As a local, family-owned business, the Schra Tree Care team is Northern Colorado’s favorite for full-service tree and lawn care.


We have proudly served the Loveland, Berthoud and Fort Collins community for over 35 years, providing an effective combination of experience, compassion, and dedication to our customers.


The owners, Chris and Kurt’s love for trees started at a young age which eventually inspired them to start a tree company and have been in the industry ever since.


They continue to be personal and transparent with their customers and have trained the entire team to provide the same stellar customer care techniques that continues to help them grow.


We are deeply dedicated to arboriculture and provide a home for some of the top competition climbers and lead trainers in the field. We actively engage with leading professionals in the industry to continuously enhance our knowledge, skills, and expertise. In one of the most dangerous occupations in the world, we demonstrate exceptional proficiency in our work. We are able to offer the best service in Northern Colorado due to our expert team of Arborists within Schra Tree Care.


Our tree crew are ISA certified tree climbers with first aid, CPR, AED and aerial rescue certifications. They perform arboricultural work safely and efficiently on the job. They show a professional commitment to a code of ethics, safety, and best practices in the industry. We understand the importance of continued education to increase their expertise and advance their careers.


Our Plant Health Care crew has Qualified Supervisor Pesticide licenses with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Our PHC crew is also first aid, CPR and AED certified to ensure safety on the job.


From first customer contact to bookkeeping the office staff takes pride in their customer service by giving the best experience to each and every customer.


With over 60 years of knowledge combined, our Certified Arborists take great care in diagnosing and caring for your trees and lawn.
